Do you approve your personal data to be collected, transferred and processed in according to the Enlightment Text submitted above and Personal Data Protection Law numbered 6698, for receiving insurance policy bids/offers, issuing policies and meeting other liabilities that is arisen from statutory regulations and contracts which are in Our company’s activity-area?
THE ENLIGHTENMENT TEXTOF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
We, As BH SİGORTA VE REASÜRANS BROKERLİĞİ A.Ş. attach great importance to maintaining the security of your personal data. Your personal data is being processed, storaged and protected in accordance with the Law on the protection of Personal Data (PDP Law) numbered 6698.
In this scope, name-surname, Identity/Passport Number, Foreign ID number valid in Turkey for non Turkish citizens, all kind of communication information, the information that is compulsory to be collected to provide service (ex; disease information for health policy and so on), and financial information data may be processed in the service procedures if needed.
In this regard, As BH SİGORTA VE REASÜRANS BROKERLİĞİ A.Ş., taking every kind of precaution and showing ultimate attention we kindly would like to inform you about processing of your personal data.
a) Data Controller
Our company, BH SİGORTA VE REASÜRANS BROKERLİĞİ A.Ş., Tax No: 1680494517, Kuleli Cad.Hasanpaşa Setti Çikmazi Aşağı Sok. No:4/1 Üsküdar/İstanbul, is processing your personal data as a “data controller” which is defined in Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Law No 6698.
b) Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data may be processed in order to prepare insurance contracts/policies, to make insurance offers upon your request and can be transferred with the same purposes.
When collecting health/medical information is compulsory for preparing offer/policy you requested then your health information will be processed in the scope of the procedure of processing special categories of personal data by taking all kind of security precautions.
Furthermore, our company may process your personal data for other purposes which is specified in the article 5 and 6 of PDPL and limited with the conditions therein.
Your personal data shall be erased if the legal reasons for the processing no longer exist or after the statutory period expires.
c) People to Whom, and Purposes for Which Personal Data can be Transferred
Your personal data shall be transferred( verbal or written) in accordance with the legislation to domestic or international insurance and reinsurance companies, state authorities and/or public institutions and organizations, real and legal persons who help the performance of services of BH Sigorta, your family, your insurance company and personnel, employees, representatives and/or domestic or international real or legal persons serving on behalf of these in order to prepare insurance contracts/policies and to make better insurance offers/bids.
When collecting health information is compulsory for preparing offer/policy you requested then your health/medical information shall be transferred in the scope of the procedure of transferring special categories of personal data by taking all kind of security precautions.
Transferring to our colloborators who are abroad, shall be done according to the regulations in Article 9 of the PDP Law and If your explicit consent is necessary, It is sought.
In transferring personal data, regulations set out in Article 8 and 9 of the PDP Law are concerned and every technical and administrative measures are taken for providing data security during and after the transfer process.
d) Data Collection Method, and Legal Reason
Your personal data we process with the purposes abovementioned, shall be derived physical environment, electronic environment or via closed circuit monitoring system and other methods. On processing your personal data, legal reasons specified in the Article 5 and 6 of the PDP Law are taken into consideration, your explicit consent is sought/taken If it is necessary by law.
If your explicit consent is sought, you have the right to revoke your given explicit consent anytime you want.
e) Rights of Data Subject
As being data subject, you may submit to our company your claims regarding such rights of yours;
1. To find out whether your personal data has been pocessed,
2. To request perspective information if your personal data has been processed,
3. To find out the reason for processing of their personal data and whether this has been used properly for that purpose,
4. To be informed of the domestic or international third parties to which the personal data has been transferred,
5. To request the correction of personal data that has been processed insufficiently or incorrectly,
6. To demand the deletion or destruction of the personal data upon the cease of the grounds on which they are processed in consideration of the principles of purpose, period, and legitimacy as regulated in Article 7 of PDPL,
7. To request that the third parties to whom personal data have been transferred be notified of the actions regarding the correction, deletion or destruction of personal data,
8. To object to an adverse result following the analysis of the processed data by automatic systems exclusively,
9. To demand indemnification of loss if they suffer loss due to the illegal procession of their personal data,
You may submit to our company your claims (written or the methods determined by the PDP Authority) to exercise your rights reserved within the frame of PDPL by the manners (respectively determined by the Personal Data Protection Board). Our company will resolve your claims for free in the shortest time and at most in 30 days. On the other hand, If the procedure requires to any cost, you will be charged of the cost determined by the PDP Authority.
